A £70M+ Impact Movement Dedicated to Transforming Women’s Lives

Today, the UK celebrates the arrival of Free Free, a groundbreaking £70M+ female empowerment ecosystem, on Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. Founded in 2018 by Yasmine McDougall Sterea, a former editor at Vogue Brazil, Free Free is committed to advancing the physical, financial, and emotional freedom of women and girls worldwide.

Free Free drives change through a dynamic ecosystem comprising the Free Free Enterprise, the Free Free Foundation, and the Free Free Global Members Club. Recognised for its innovative approach to female empowerment, the movement blends education, neuroscience, meditation, and creativity to drive sustainable change for women, businesses, and communities globally.

Marking the UK Launch with a Star-Studded Event

The UK launch was commemorated with an inaugural event held on 6 November at Ladbroke Hall, London. The event successfully raised $250,000 for the Free Free Foundation to support education and entrepreneurship initiatives for women worldwide. An exclusive auction, featuring art donations from renowned artists such as Tracey Emin and Sonia Gomes, curated by Bobby Monteverde, played a central role in raising funds.

The evening brought together influential changemakers, including Carmen Busquet, Poppy Jamie, Caprice, Andrea Gelardin, Olimpia Possati, Unilever Global VP Tati Lindenberg, and Harvard Professor Dr Joan Johnson-Freese.

Driving Global Impact with Proven Solutions

Since its inception, Free Free has achieved remarkable milestones, creating over £70M in measurable impact, directly engaging 50,000 women and girls globally, and influencing over 2 million people monthly. It has also partnered with over 80 organisations, including Google, Gucci, Pepsico, Unilever, L’Oréal, and government bodies like Brazil’s Department of Justice. Its efforts have been recognised by Forbes, Glamour, and the UN Women – Inspiring Women Awards, and it has collaborated with institutions such as Harvard University’s African Centre.

    Innovative Programmes to Empower Women

To support its UK launch, Free Free is introducing several initiatives:

    • Free Free World Club: Developed in partnership with Solusent, this tech-enabled platform features a new app offering masterclasses, coaching sessions, networking opportunities, and tools for creating personalised impact projects.
    • Free Free Enterprise: Bringing the movement’s unique empowerment methodology to UK businesses, fostering inclusive work environments and sustainable growth.
    • Free Free Foundation’s Latest Project – Free Free Rivers: A community-driven initiative aimed at empowering women while addressing environmental challenges.
    • Partnership with Unilever’s “Dirt is Good” Campaign: Collaborating to promote social and environmental responsibility while empowering women in underserved communities.

    A Vision for Global Transformation

Speaking on the launch, founder Yasmine McDougall Sterea said, “Our UK launch represents a crucial step in our mission to advance women’s freedom globally. Our proven ecosystem is transforming how women overcome limitations, turning their challenges into creative solutions. We believe that when we help women free themselves within, they have the power to free the world.”

    Join the Movement

Women professionals in the UK can now join Free Free by applying for membership through the organisation’s website. Membership provides access to the Free Free Enterprise app, connecting them with a global network of changemakers dedicated to empowering women and girls.

Free Free’s expansion into the UK is a testament to its dedication to advancing gender equality worldwide.
