CementEra Collection by VitrA Tiles Earns International Design Recognition

    Sam AllcockBy Sam Allcock29/04/2025

VitrA Tiles, from the Eczacıbaşı Tiles Group, has been named a recipient of the 2025 Red Dot Design Award for its CementEra series. Recognised in the ‘Product Design’ category, the collection was celebrated for its refined aesthetic and architectural functionality. The Red Dot Awards are globally renowned for honouring excellence in design.

    A contemporary celebration of concrete

The CementEra collection transforms the rawness of concrete into a sophisticated tile format, offering a minimalist look suited for modern interiors. Featuring four tonal options—light greige, dark greige, light grey, and dark grey—the series brings subtle elegance to any space.

The inclusion of two distinctive decor designs further enriches the collection. With sizes such as 60×60 cm, 60×120 cm, 120×120 cm, and 120×280 cm, CementEra allows for extensive customisation. The standout 120×120 cm decor tile displays intricate patterns and a glossy surface created using a special printing process.

Selected by a world-class judging panel

Established in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award continues to be a hallmark of product design excellence. In 2025, a jury of 43 experts from 21 countries assessed entries from more than 60 nations. CementEra’s design distinction secured its place among the honoured selections of the year.
