National Geographic Traveller (UK) has unveiled the winners of its prestigious Hotel Awards 2024, celebrating the best new and enhanced hotels from around the globe. The awards spotlight hotels that deliver outstanding service, innovative design, and exceptional guest experiences, with 36 hotels earning recognition across 12 categories.

The full list of winners will be featured in the November 2024 issue of National Geographic Traveller (UK), available in stores from 3 October 2024. Each category crowns a single winner, alongside two runners-up, highlighting a range of properties from chic urban hotels to secluded eco-retreats.

Pat Riddell, editor of National Geographic Traveller (UK), expressed his admiration for the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry: “There must be at least one new hotel opening somewhere in the world each day, and through this bustling landscape of lodges, retreats, conversions, and new builds, we’ve identified the true standouts over the past year. These hotels reflect the creativity and energy that can transform an empty shell into a ‘home away from home’ for travellers.”

“This year’s honourees span a variety of destinations and aesthetics, from a restored farmhouse in Morocco and a stylish hotel in California’s desert, to the transformation of a historic structure in London and a secluded retreat in Mexico. Whether it’s luxury, innovation, or sustainability, these hotels are setting new standards.”
