New York-Style Pizzeria to Open on King’s Road
Alley Cats Pizza is excited to announce the opening of its second location in Chelsea. The new pizzeria will welcome guests on Friday 9th August, expanding from its successful Marylebone site, which launched in December 2023.
Authentic Flavours and Vibrant Atmosphere
The Chelsea location will offer the same delectable 14-inch pizzas and lively atmosphere that have charmed diners across London. Head Chef Francesco Macri will lead the team, bringing his expertise to this new venue. His pizzas blend New York influences with high-quality ingredients from Southern Italy.
Menu Highlights
- Starters: Enjoy Meatballs made from beef and pork in a rich tomato sauce, topped with aged Parmesan and basil. Another option is the Candied Bacon.
- Pizzas: The Vodka Sauce pizza features a creamy tomato sauce with slow-cooked vodka, aged Mozzarella, and Buffalo Mozzarella. The Pepperoni pizza combines tomato sauce, aged Mozzarella, smoked pepperoni, jalapeno, and honey. For a white base option, try the Wild Mushroom pizza, which includes taleggio cheese, aged Mozzarella, red onion jam, and fried sage.
- Desserts: Delight in Tiramisu with pistachio or Vanilla Soft Serve with various toppings.
Eclectic Charm and Relaxed Dining
The Chelsea pizzeria will retain the charm of its predecessor with gingham tablecloths, upcycled church pew-style seating, and silent projections of The Sopranos on exposed brick walls. Guests can enjoy a vibrant setting while sipping on handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, or refreshing beers.
Opening Details
Alley Cats Pizza in Chelsea, located at 342 King’s Road, will open on Friday 9th August, The restaurant will be open daily from 12pm to 11pm and will operate on a walk-in basis only.
