This state-of-the-art entertainment venue is anticipated to be a landmark addition to the vibrant capital, significantly enhancing the entertainment landscape for residents and visitors alike.

Strategic Partnership Details
Sphere Entertainment and DCT Abu Dhabi are committed to collaboratively developing the next Sphere venue. In 2023, Abu Dhabi welcomed over 24 million visitors, showcasing its appeal as a premier global destination. Under the terms of the partnership, which are subject to the finalisation of definitive agreements, DCT Abu Dhabi will pay Sphere Entertainment a franchise initiation fee for the right to construct the venue, utilising Sphere’s proprietary designs, technology, and intellectual property. DCT Abu Dhabi will fund the construction, while Sphere Entertainment’s expert team will provide guidance related to development, construction, and pre-opening activities.
Future Collaborations
Following the venue’s inauguration, Sphere Entertainment plans to maintain a collaborative relationship with DCT Abu Dhabi. This partnership is expected to involve annual fees for artistic and creative content licensed by Sphere, as well as the use of Sphere’s brand and proprietary technology.
